ABOUT THE ARTIST

American artist Adam Masterman works in both comics and painting to explore artmaking as a dying ritual, and interconnectedness in an age of capitalist alienation. He studied painting at Bates college, and completed his MFA at the Maine College of Art & Design in 2024. His comics have been published by Dark Horse and ComixTribe, and his first graphic novel is serialized on Webtoon. His paintings have been exhibited in various art festivals and group shows, and belong to several private collections.
